WinPCAntivirus is a Scam, So Beware

When it comes to computer safety, you just can't be too safe. There are so many threats out there that can harm your computer and compromise your finances that it would be foolish to be unsafe. WinPCAntivirus is one of these threats, but you can avoid its wiles by using a trusted antispyware program. Preventing infection is much better than having to scurry around to find a solution.

WinPCAntivirus is a rogue antivirus application that was developed by cyber criminals. They created it to appear like a genuine antivirus program, but in the end it is just a bunch of digital garbage. Though it makes claims to be benevolent, it is really just a malignant infection that is after you money. It doesn't help your computer, it hinders its performance.

WinPCAntivirus usually uses a Trojan horse to infect your computer. Once the Trojan has snuck in, it will download the rogue security app without the user's knowledge or permission. However, WinPCAntivirus can infect a computer through email attachments, tainted downloads, manual download, and through malicious websites that slip things through security holes in the browser.

No matter how WinPCAntivirus infects a computer, once it has been installed it starts a campaign of fake security warnings. These warnings attempt to frighten the infected user by claiming that their system has been overrun with viral threats. It urges them to allow a scan to be performed by WinPCAntivirus. However, the results that are yielded by the fake scan are completely made up. The results may even point to your personal files or legitimate system files and claim that they are malignant.

The fraudulent results are again used in an attempt to scare the user into paying for the full version of WinPCAntivirus. Trial programs that must be registered are common with legitimate security apps, which is why this rogue does it. It wants to appear legitimate. But once the full version has been paid for, WinPCAntivirus doesn't do anything to remove the threats that may really exist on the infected computer. On top of this, future threats will not be prevented. This program is a complete scam and a waste of money.

There is another aspect of WinPCAntivirus that should be considered. It doesn't just steal your money. It will cause your computer to slow down, hinder you Internet connection and speed, harass you with pop-ups, and alter your browser's security settings. This sets the stage for other infectious programs to slip in unnoticed. As you can see, this is a serious threat to both your computer and your pocketbook. Remove this program as soon as you can.

Removing WinPCAntivirus is a complicated and inefficient process. That is why you should use an antispyware program to remove it for you. When you are shopping for antispyware, you should make sure that the company that makes the product is legit. You should also make sure that the antispyware is guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware. Your computer is an important machine in your life. Give it quality, complete protection that you can trust.
